This Mawi sparkly clutch has been living rent free in my mind for a while now. And since many times I sue this blog as therapy I can post it here in hopes that one of you get it and enjoy it. Its happy, lively, BEAUTIFUL, fun, and it can pretty much be the outfit itself. You don't need much else but I just loved these classic gold sandals. And because your home deserves the same amount of reflective quality I present to you this fabulous leaf pendant and this shiny cool throw pillow. Both are sexy and chic.
Welcome to today's Luxe Lusting feature filled with all shades of happy pinks. I know not everybody loves pink, but you can't deny its a happy Spring color and it plays so well with so many other colors. You know what color combination I'm loving lately is pink, black, and white. Soft and edgy at the same time. Here is an outfit and a vignette with this color scheme to help you visualize -
With temperatures increasing, trees budding, and birds chirping you can tell Spring is in the air. And for me this means brighter colors. So today, I have rounded up a few of my favorite things with touches of turquoise. I need to start with these bracelets. My mom, who has the best taste ever, scouted these in a local magazine. Neither of us could stop drooling over them. These spectacular bracelets are covered with stingray shagreen and are simply decadently luxurious. The end caps are interchangeable and they come in different colors. Oh my!!
How are you all holding up? Yikes, I'm having a busy week, but its definitely a good one. Hope yours is too. Alrightie, let's get to it - Red-ish.....Well, the color here is almost red yet a little off, right? There seems to be a tad of orange on these or maybe we should just call it burnt orange? Anyhoot, I am in love with all these beautiful and expensive things (which reminds me I was thinking of alternating this series with a similar one called Affordable Adorations featuring more affordable items, yes? Let me know if you agree). Sorry, back to the topic at hand.
For those of you regular readers you know about my love affair with grey lately (if you don't take a look at what kind of floors I'm lusting after here) so it will come as no surprise that I am also lusting after grey accessories for myself and my home. This draper cocktail table is really perfect for any corner of your home. Make it two and you have yourself the perfect coffee table pairing. The grey ostrich is just too good. And no matter the color palette of your home a smokey grey gourd lamp always blends right in. Loving its grey lampshade as well.
Happy Wednesday! How are you surviving the week? It has been gloomy here (you know rainy and even a little snowy). I'm not complaining, I actually love this cold front we are having but it has gotten me thinking about the bright sunny days of spring (that and the fact that I just bought our tickets for a beach getaway in the Spring). So, here are some fabulous yellow beauties to brighten your day.
Happy chic Monday!! Here are some sparkly, clean, and crisp beauties to start you off right this week. I'm in love with this table lamp. What desk would not benefit from this little sculpture? Pure perfection. And these gold rimmed plates? How perfect are these plates that you can mix and match with your existing china.....and like the little black dress....you can dress them up or down.
Happy Monday! I can't believe we have one more weekend before Thanksgiving break (can you tell I have a child and go by the school vacations?). To start off this cold Monday morning (we are in the 30s here in Dallas this morning) I have some little eye candy for you and some for the home with a coral, green, and gold color scheme. It was all inspired by these amazing earrings that actually have a really surprising price (they are $100) compared to what I would have expected. You can dress them up or down. And what about that malachite box??!! I made my own here which I love, but I really wish I had a real one like the one above. Yummy!!
Happy Friday! It has been a busy but fun week. I love those! I have an interesting pattern play for you today. All in a fall color palette, yum! I love the mixed rich colors brightened by the lighter tan and white touches. The clutch and shoes are not my typical taste but I'm really liking the bold patterns of both. I would pair them with a simple button down white shirt and jeans. How chic! Now, as for that rug- well that would cozy up any room and of course cheetah is the new leopard, or was it zebra?! No matter- cheetah is the new "in" hide so make sure you have some in your home asap to update any corner. It really goes with everything.
I get the feeling this is going to be one of those weeks. Ugh! Maybe the beginning of October is going to better. But I am not going to run away and hide in a hole (but oh I wish I could). Nope, I want to share with you these exciting pieces. I had never before seen this ghost piece by Starck. It would be a perfect bedside table. And the greek key box is an instant classic. That would be ideal anywhere in your home. And if you want some luxury for yourself, these high heels blew me away. They are futuristic and seem really comfortable. And that little clutch is just the right amount of shiny and whimsical elegance to dress up any evening ensemble.
