Mother's Day is very close and I'm not sure what to plan since last Mother's Day was so amazing. It will take a lot of creativity to top that one. Happy Mother's Day Weekend

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of you lovely mommas! I hope you are celebrated and pampered plenty this weekend. My husband is out of town on a conference but Little Miss A has taken it upon herself to make this Mother's Day the best yet. She has a whole weekend planned for us. She has quite the agenda as it includes ( in no particular order)- dressing up as twinsies, cake with pink frosting, bubbles, cookies for breakfast topped with whipped cream (she says this type of breakfast is preferable to her learning how to use the toaster) and maybe a meeting with a beast at some point. I hope to be able to share with you some of this on Monday. I'm quite excited actually. And fingers crossed one of my best friends will be in town.

Mother's Day || Gift Ideas

Mother's Day is around the corner! Can you believe it? This will be a bitter-sweet Mother's day for me because I won't get to spend it with my mom (but we did get to celebrate this past weekend) and my husband will be out of town in a conference. That is the bitter part, but the sweet part is I will get to spend it with one of my best friends and her family because they will be in town visiting! I am so excited to spend time with her. I have made some fun plans for us. And also, my daughter and I have been brainstorming up a fabulous mother-daughter set of activities, one of which, we will share with you soon. Maybe on Friday if we get our act together. Happy Mother's Day Weekend!

I'm not sure what I would do without my mother. I'm so lucky that I have her and that I get to see her very often. I call her every two seconds and always find so many new things to talk about. She guides me (still!) and comforts me (still!) and is just such a strong and amazing lady. I wish I could properly explain all that she is to me.

Shower your mom with love (and a special discount!)

Today I get to share with you so many beautiful things. There is plenty of eye candy for sure! Remember a few weeks ago I posted on meeting the fabulously talented jewelry designer Elizabeth Showers (here)? Well, earlier this week I got to spend the morning with her and the lovely Charlotte to pick some of my favorite pieces to style and basically play with. It was so difficult as each piece is so thoughtfully designed. I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity to showcase such alluring pieces. Not only is her jewelry beautiful and versatile but the pieces are designed to uplift and inspire. A winning combination in my book.

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Just a few ideas for Mother's day gifts today. It is just a few weeks away if you can believe it. I'm making my mom a chocolate and ice cream cake that I made once before and everyone died over it so she requested it again. Mom's are so special and should be pampered accordingly. It doesn't matter how old you get they worry about you every second of every day and always want to protect you as best as they can. There is no purer love than a mother's love don't you agree? Now that I'm a mom is when I really understand this.
