I know I have been MIA but life has been crazy. Between my personal projects (I hope to share a bit about some of them soon), commitments to my daughter's school (those have been big ones this year!) and life in general, I have not had much time for blogging. But I have been missing it and you so much! I hope you forgive me. But please, please don't forget about me!!! A few pretty things to peruse over the weekend-

Pink is a color I have learned to love as an adult. I rarely wore pink as a child. My mom always opted for strong colors like reds and oranges, greens... and even black but rarely pink. Pink has never been in my life much until just a few years ago. Now, I have a family room with tons of it (pillows, chairs, paintings!) and it makes me SO HAPPY! I rounded up a few of my currently favorite pink and white items. Any of these would make us all happy-

Currently Coveting || Beachy Things

Our Spring Break is around the corner. We are in much need of some rest and relaxation, especially my poor husband. So with thoughts of spring and vacation I have some perfectly pretty beachy items to share with you today-

I'm kind of obsessed with anything that has stars lately and this cute straw tote is no exception. These adorable and feminine yellow slip-on sandals are like a ray of sunshine and easy to match any summer ensemble. These parrot earrings are festive and happy, upgrade your earrings collection with those beauties. This straw clutch is a must just because stripes and pineapples are an ideal combination. I'm a huge fan of the plunging V-neckline for both evening dresses and swimsuits. I find the look elegantly sexy. I bet this floral swimsuit looks sensational on. These preppy and fun lobster napkins are ideal for all your upcoming outdoor soirees. A pretty blue striped Turkish towel is a must for a chic pool, or for a beach outing. And I love how they can double as picnic blankets, or even a shawl! These folding outdoor chairs are very practical. Keep them tucked away and folded during the colder months and bring them out for extra seating on the warmer months during gatherings. I remember going to Vietri with my parents in the Amalfi coast to buy their beautiful handmade and handpainted plates. Now you don't even have to leave your couch to find them as they can be found online! These crab plates and these octupus ones will make for a beautiful nautical table. And if you haven't figured it out yet, you need at least one top that shows some shoulder. I love the print of this blue and white ruffle one. The eyelet top is easy and summery. I love the embroidery and bow detail on this one, and this blue one with the black strap is my favorite because you get the one-shoulder look with the comfort of two straps! Genius!

Best Spring and Summer Earrings || Carolina Damas

Large and unique earrings are a weakness of mine. I have converted a few friends to this look and they haven't looked back since. I think large earrings are a way to make a statement without having to go out and buy new clothes. It's kind of like getting new pillows for your sofa without having the expense of reupholstering, you know? A fabulous pair of earrings can make you look smashing. This is why I want to share Carolina Damas' latest creations. They are TO DIE FOR. Her combination is unbeatable- fabulous design, perfect color palettes, high quality, hand-made, easy to wear and very nicely priced (they all range from between $28 to around $60). Uhm, yes please!

You may remember when I first introduced her earrings to you here. Well, now I own three pairs and am not exaggerating when I tell you that whenever I wear them at least three people ask me about them. They are eye-catching and beautiful. You just want to look at them and hold them because their workmanship is so fabulous. I have always loved supporting entrepreneurs and artists and Carolina Damas is both! Take a look at what I'm crazy about. I'm sure you will be a convert too.

The Prettiest Winter Hats || Jennifer Behr

Good thing it is still cold out. There is still time to get a new winter hat, and trust me, you will want to after you see these jewels, by Jennifer Behr. Jennifer, who majored in sculpture and art history, started her line of luxurious heirloom quality hair accessories back in 2005. Jennifer started her career designing for hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai in 2001 but when he discontinued his hair accessory line, Bergdorf Goodman stepped in and encouraged her to start her own collection to be sold at the store. Boy am I glad they believed in her because all her pieces are breathtaking and everything is designed and created in New York, which just makes them even more special. Who knew winter hats could be so refined and maybe even ethereal? Take a look-

A few months ago I found these fabulous earrings in NYC. I took a photo of them and emailed them to a few friends. "Look at these!! Want me to get you some?" I'm a good friend that way. So I'm now a proud owner of some RED grapes and so is my friend (we both have dark hair and they are STUNNING on). #Twinsies! The days are getting shorter and darker, and can you believe I just started wearing socks? Yup, it's getting chillier here in Dallas and I quite like it. Darker colors are what I'm craving lately. I think you will like today's little round-up-

Nothing like pretty things on a Thursday! This shirt with rainbow colored hearts is so adorable on!! It's in my closet as I type and can't wait to wear it. I had the opportunity to flip thru the Coveteur book and it is full of amazing inspired photographs of designers' homes. A must for my Christmas list for sure. A shiny gold wishbone is the perfect topper to a stack of pretty coffee table books. This leopard bench is a classic and is guaranteed to look anywhere in your home. Get two and put them under a console, or in front of a bed. Tres chic! Pins for your jackets, shirts or clutches to change things up a bit (flamingo pin | pineapple pin | lips pin | rainbow pin ). Aren't these so fun! It would be seriously difficult not to get all four and wear them together. This cozy black poncho seems like something I would not take off all fall and this dresser (it also comes in black) is not only beautiful and elegant but so practical. The pulls are really pretty and the gold and grey color combination is one of my favorites. The cute pink clutch is only $34 and is a great way to dress up your fall date nights.

I love when start-up brands with amazing products contact me for help with exposure. It's exciting to discover beautiful products that I immediately fall in love and then share them with you. This way you will be in 'the know'! Today I have beautiful hand-made earrings by the super talented Carolina Damas. Her creations with rhinestone beads combined with crochet, lace and filigree are bold, colorful and completely vibrant.
