Tile Me Crazy

May 20, 2013

I have been noticing that tile is getting interesting and fun lately.  I feel like it's having a comeback.  Companies are creating more beautiful designs and designers are using it in more daring ways.  This tile above is so simple but in a small room like this with high ceilings it makes a statement.  Here are other great ideas-

Who knew you could make subway tile so sexy?

Add tile to the ceiling to create a little jewel box like this blue one.

I discovered a fabulous company that has beautiful tile designs- Country Floors .  Their Talya collection really took my breath away.  Here are my favorites.  Can you imagine a bathroom with this Greek key?

Have you given tile any thought lately?  Have I convinced you to take a second look?

  19. The stuff of my dreams. That second one- with the diagonal triangles in black and white has my name written all over it. That bathroom... they really did the right thing opening it up with the full wall of mirror. It could have looked so much busier and closed in with a framed mirror above the sink. The greek key you highlighted is pretty sweet too!
