Sam Loves: Emerald Green
March 12, 2013
So excited to have the second edition of the "Sam loves" series. Here was the last post in the series in case you missed it. To refresh your memory Sam from The Peak of Tres Chic and I
will be gathering inspiration under a certain theme a
couple of times a month and sharing it with you. Sam will guest post here in my blog and I will post at Sam's. I guess you could say we are swapping for the day. This time around its all about emerald green.
Hello Mimosa Lane readers! Sam here again, back for another "Sam Loves" post. Today Albertina and I are focusing on fun ways to incorporate Pantone's color of the year, emerald, in to your home and wardrobe.

As
we step in to spring I am always drawn to brighter colors that pack a
true punch. I've often admitted that I stick to mostly black clothes and
riding boots during winter, but when the sun starts shining again so
does my wardrobe! I also love adding emerald to my interiors. Mixing
the same color in various shades- such as emerald, kelly green, and
mint- creates a unique color palette in a room.
I also love contrasting emerald with coral. The color combo is such a bright juxtaposition. All you need is a touch of coral (such as a cocktail ring) with an emerald ensemble to get the full effect.
Thanks so much Sam! Love both looks so much! ANd if you want to see my Emereal inspiration visit Sam here.
