A Styled Corner
September 06, 2013
Just a few styled corners that remind me of fall. Its still so hot here in Dallas and I all can think about is sweater weather and curling up in a cozy blanket like this. I love these styled corners with the warm gold and earthy tones (for more styling ideas visit The Zhush's lookbook here) Any big plans for the weekend? I kind of wish I were in NY for Fashion Week, everyone seems to be having a ball. Here are a few links for you:
|| Loving this swing arm lamp
|| Did you know there are two versions of the Banana Leaf Wallpaper that is so in (the one in the Beverly Hills Hotel)? I learned this from my new blog friend Andrea from the Glam Pad. Fascinating!
|| I'm really excited about this collaboration between Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCarthy
|| I loved seeing these dramatic sets for Fashion Weeks all over the world. My favorite was Pierre Cardin's 2008 show in in the Gobi Desert.
|| This DIY has inspired me.
|| Ever since Sue spoke about this vest for fall, I can't stop thinking about it! Help! Doesn't it look like the photos above?!
Happy Weekending my sweets!!

ReplyDeleteThanks girl for the DIY shout out. It was a lot of fun to make and even better- allowed me to dress up a little corner of my own in my home office. It is still so hot in SoCal... As you are, I too am ready for Fall and all it's fantastic coziness.
ReplyDeleteLove the gold & earthy tones! It's so hot still here in CA. Our summer's just beginning!

I'll email you this weekend to tell you about my new adventure ;)
I love these colour combinations and they remind me of Autumn too. I do wish we had some of your warm temperatures. It's suddenly chilly here and raining too!

ReplyDeleteI love the styled corner. It's perfect! And yes, I did know about the banana leaf wallpaper. Isn't it fabulous?

The Glam Pad
Love the fall inspiration esp the second pic... Love that Glam Pad and didn't know that Gwyn and stella were collaborating -- love it!
ReplyDeleteThe forecast is 90+ here today and I keep looking forlornly at my boots and sweaters. Ugh. I love that tusk. That gold object DIY is fabulous but so over my head, it's hilarious! NYFW was one of the most fabulous things I've ever done. (Not to rub it in, or anything.) When you come to Charleston, please let me know and I'll give you a complete list of must see, do, and eat (with a focus on the eating)!!!
ReplyDeleteSo wish I was in NYC, too! One day :) Love these images! Happy Monday xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove your styled shots, pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm so tired of all the hot weather in Dallas as well. At least we get some rain early next week! Here's hoping that will cool things off a bit! I can't wait for my coats, sweaters, and boots! Winter has always been my favorite fashion wise.
