We are just a week away from Christmas! So exciting! With all these national snow storms and cold weather nothing can be cozier than a touch of animal print for both you and your home. Sam
and I are so excited to bring to you some ideas of how to incorporate a
bit of animal print in our fourteenth edition of the "We love"
series. Here was the last post in the series in case you missed it. To refresh your memory Sam from The Peak of Tres Chic and I
will be gathering inspiration under a certain theme a
couple of times a month and sharing it with you. Sam will guest post here in my blog and I will post at Sam's.
I guess you could say we are swapping for the day. And of course a bit of leopard
is perfect for this time of year and we just had to include it.
Hello lovelies! Sam here, from The Peak of Tres Chic,
back for the 14th installment of the "We Love" series with Albertina,
where we swap posts for the day to delve in to a little fashion and
decor. Today, we are discussing one of my favorite topics of all time- animal prints. As
we all know, incorporating a little zebra or leopard in to your
wardrobe or home can be a balancing act. If done without much thought,
the look can easily turn from "chic" to "cheap". I suggest
incorporating leopard or zebra with a more neutral palette, and letting
the texture serve as the statement-maker. In the interior shot above,
the leopard-uphostered chairs create a luxe vibe to the space.
Similarly, the leopard coat is balanced by black pieces and a touch of
coral.
Are you a fan of leopard, zebra, or cowhide? How do you bring it in to your decor and closet?
Thanks Sam!! And be sure to check out my pick's over at Sam's.
