Damien Langlois-Meurinne
October 06, 2014
I wanted to introduce you to Damien Langlois-Meurinne, a french designer. His spaces are meticulous and simple and invoke a certain feeling of purity. His kitchens are particularly spectacular as he designs them to be sophisticated and very 'unlike' a kitchen (they look more like dining rooms) maintaining the soul of the home intact. The materials and color palette he uses are soothing, and his lighting choices are exactly what my dreams are made of. I was not surprised to learn that he began his career with Christian Liaigre, one of my favorite designers ( I blogged about how his work inspired my bedroom design here). Take a further look at Damien's work, your soul will thank you-
Meticulous, right? Love? or not so much? What do you think about the growing trend of kitchens that don't look like kitchens? Are they for people who don't cook much? or can you be a super chef in them? See more of Damien's portfolio here.
