Amazing Headboards

Headboards have grown in importance lately.  They are getting taller and their shapes more and more interesting.  People seem to be getting tired of the classic shapes and are adding their own personal flair.  I quite like that headboards are no longer playing it safe and are rather taking on more personality.  Here are some beautiful examples-



I personally like a nice balance-  not too tall and not too complicated and with at least some vestige of the more classic shapes.  But I love that they have become so much more sculptural.

    I agree- Love statement headboards, but my fav image is that navy room, with orange linen bedskirt. Lovely. xo Nancy

    I need a good headboard, the ones that I am drawn to are always the hollywood regency styles or the gilded versions. These are so pretty!

    Those headboards have me dreaming of making a new one for a daybed in the nursery! That green and pink room from style at home looks potentially doable (with the right angle cuts) vs. free handing it! Thanks for sharing!

    These are all SO good! I'm in love with the brown and pink (4th one) from Architectural Digest. My husband would just have to deal with it!

    I love them all but can never commit to such a bold decor decision. I'd rather stick with a neutral so I can switch up pillows, duvets, sheets, etc.
