Get the Look || Feminine Holiday Tablescape

December 22, 2014

Last Friday I posted my blue and white painted plates DIY, which was so much fun to make and photograph.  So, today I wanted to give you the details of that tablescape so you could recreate a similar look.  But, I have to admit, that the pink roses and peonies really elevated the beauty of the tablescape and made it extra special.  What I mean to say is that if you get a whole bunch of pretty flowers you are 90% there!

To mix things up I had two sets of different chairs, two were pink and the other two were acrylic.  I included my pink sheep skin DIY to add some color.  The must-have gold flatware you can find here.  The candy cane ornaments you can find pretty much everywhere, but these are cute and inexpensive.  The vibrant peak pillow of my own design you can find here.  I just love that it add a sense of fun and playfulness.  These light blue plates with gold rim are sensational and are reasonably priced.  I keep thinking I need them for my china collection because they would go beautifully with what I already own.  The beautiful ginger jar is from The Pink Pagoda (of course!).  Jennifer always offers such a great variety of patterns and styles that it is difficult to chose. Add several ginger jars in differing heights to  add even more interest. And the pink and white napkins are from here.

I'm currently working on my Christmas Eve dinner table.  It will be elegant and traditional.  I hope to get photos to share with you.  And after drinking too much champagne this weekend that is all I have for you today. Have a wonderful beginning to your week.
