My friend recently gifted me a New York Times collection of interiors from the 60's and I was shocked to see how timeless they all were. David Hicks, Parish Hadley, Mark Hampton... so many of their designs still feel fresh today.
It's amazing how chevrons been so simplified over the years when the perfectionist himself styled it in such a brilliant, sophisticated manner! Love all the sumptuous colors and patterns...Oh David, you will always have my heart!
Would love to get your thoughts on my most recent hotel renovation when you get a chance! Hope to see you soon!

ReplyDeleteI think anything David Hicks does will always be chic! I believe that Tory Burch got inspiration for colors in her line from his work.
