A Thanksgiving Tablescape || BSHT Tablescape 2015 Tour
November 04, 2015
I'm so excited to be a part of the BSHT Thanksgiving Tablescape 2015 tour time hosted by Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co! If you are here from Inspired by Charm, I'm so happy you are here! Welcome! I really loved Michael's table.
In this tour that runs the entire week, 31 bloggers and I are sharing our Thanksgiving tablescapes to offer you all some early inspiration. I'm so happy it's November and that Thanksgiving is around the corner. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year because it is about family and friends spending time together and bonding over food and wine without the added pressure of presents. I adore bringing loved ones together, cooking and setting a pretty table. I hope you like my swan themed table.
Our daughter is always in charge of the seating cards. My swan collection of four identical swans was born from this post here, where I fell in love with Jamie Herzlinger's antique swans. I decided I need two of these for my office's bookcase, which I gifted myself for Christmas. Additionally, my sweet, sweet aunt who is a Mimosa Lane Blog super fan gave my daughter and I each a swan for our birthdays (and yes, we know how lucky and loved we are!). I could not think of a prettier and more original center piece for our Thanksgiving table than the four swans elegantly presiding over our fabulous meal.
The tablecloth I had bought for my daughter's birthday earlier that year, which was actually swan inspired as well! You can see that once we are inspired and passionate about something we just run with it.
I added touches of orange throughout with the flowers and bowls of clementines.
Are you planning on cooking this year? I hope so because it is always half the fun. Up next is The Chronicles of Home. I can't wait to see Jennifer's table up next! With her taste I know it will be fabulous!
