Lighting || Rosie Li

June 09, 2014

Just some fabulous lighting to start your week off right.  These beautiful designs are by artist Rosie Li, a 25 year old Rhode Island School of Design graduate.  Her designs are impressive and fall under that mid-century modernist influence that I'm so attracted to. (other favorites that I have blogged about- Roll and Hill and Adelman).  There is a whole movement of lighting crafters moving toward simpler lines that still make a statement.  Chandeliers are getting sexier in my opinion.

Rosie is so talented right?  I'm in love with her work. See it all here.  Don't get me wrong, I still love a good traditional Murano glass chandelier, but these modern designers are really pushing the envelope and exploring a whole different concept in lighting.  I'm on board.  How about you?
